Academic libraries may wish to use hard due dates to truncate due dates to the end of a semester (so that items are due by a particular date) or allow particular material to go out for an entire semester. Hard due dates can make an item’s due date either earlier or later than usual, depending on requirements.
Local system administrators can view hard due dates for your library, but cannot make updates.
Existing hard due dates will display for the current working location with the current ceiling date visible. Multi-branch libraries should use the library selector to display hard due dates for their system and descendants.

To see past and upcoming dates for a specific hard due date, click Values on the applicable line.

The dates will display.

If you wish to add a hard due date, please contact Co-op Support with the following:
Who and what the hard due date should apply to
Whether the hard due should apply all the time, or just truncate regular due dates if they would fall after the hard due date
If you already have a hard due date established, but need the date of a hard due date updated (e.g. the next semester is coming up), please contact Co-op Support to let us know what the new hard due date should be.
